EnerStar Electric Cooperative proudly supports 4-H

Jeremy Williams presents Outstanding Electricity Award to Shelby ZellersDid you know that our EnerStar Electric Cooperative (previously known as Edgar Electric Co-operative Association) was founded in 1938 by the Edgar County Farm Bureau? Yep! That’s right! And ever since, we have been very proud of our agricultural roots.

That is why we strongly support the local county extension offices and the 4-H programs each year. Here are just a few photos from this summer’s 4-H fairs. We appreciate the hard work of all the participants, but must say, we have a soft spot in our hearts for those electricity projects.

Congratulations everyone for a year well done!

Edgar County 4-H Fair

For many years now, EnerStar has provided judges for the electricity projects at the Edgar County Fair. We greatly appreciate the hard work of all the 4-Hers in the various departments and thank those children who participated in the electricity projects. And another big thank you to Journeyman Lineman Chad Cornwell for agreeing to be the judge again this year. We look forward to seeing you all next year!
