As a not-for-profit electric cooperative, EnerStar is governed by a board of directors who are elected by the cooperative members. The board members are EnerStar co-op members, just like you. There are nine directors on the board, each residing in and representing a specific district in the cooperative.
Any active EnerStar member who resides in the appropriate district and meets the co-op member-approved qualifications can run for a directorship. Three board positions are up for election this year. The process begins February 21, 2025, and concludes with the election results at the co-op’s annual meeting, which will be held on June 7, 2025.
