EnerStar Electric Cooperative has a proud history of providing dependable electricity to our members for over 85 years.
EnerStar purchases its wholesale power from Wabash Valley Power Alliance, a not-for-profit cooperative (like us!) that generates and transmits electricity. They serve 23 electric distribution cooperatives in Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri.
Wabash, like EnerStar, strongly believes in the benefits of having a diverse power generation portfolio. This includes combining various power-generating sources, including an increasing number of renewable energy sources.
