Energy.gov - Inflation Reduction Act
The Inflation Reduction Act passed in 2022 included $8.8 billion for Home Energy Rebates. IRS Home Energy Tax Credits

Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program (IHWAP)
IHWAP helps low-income households reduce energy costs through home weatherization and health and safety upgrades to the home. You can click on the link to see the availability of IHWAP's services, such as air sealing, insulation, HVAC repair or replacement, and more. To learn more about the program, including income eligibility guidelines, or to apply, members should contact their local Community Action Agency. In the EnerStar service territory, Embarras River Basin Agency serves all counties except Vermilion County. The East Central Illinois Community Action Agency serves Vermilion County.
